Makeup is a process that requires detailing. There are fine details that need to be met and this can only be dome through great care and precision. Hence it is said that makeup is an art.

- Avoid trying new products as your wedding day nears. This is because you surely do not want an allergy or an inflammation of the skin due to any products that does not use your skin.
- Using an exfoliating face wash helps skin to remove dead cells and rejuvenate.
- Drink water hydrates the skin. Drink atleast one – two liters water everyday.
- Spend at a spa to de-stress and relax so that you are all geared up for the wedding day.
- Remember that relaxing will help your skin glow.
- Remember to remove the makeup incase you have put any the night before your wedding.
- Remember to take in fresh air. Your skin needs to breathe as well.
- Apply a lip balm regularly so that the lips are maintained smooth and well moisturized.
- Rub ice on your skin before applying so that your makeup stays for long hours.
- Attend wedding exhibitions so that you are well aware of all the makeup product brands that are popular.
- Make sure that all the essentials that are required for the makeup are arranged in a kit before hand such as safety pins, sewing kit, pain killers, glue etc.
- Usually, bridal makeup is in bright shades due to the draining effect of artificial lighting. But care should also be taken that the makeup is not too jazzy or glittery.
- Care should be taken while applying foundation because if excess foundation is used it will show in the furrows of wrinkles.
